Meet Our Skilled Support Staff

Despite being the better half to Dr. Boe, Christina has not always been involved in the world of veterinary medicine. This Jersey girl graduated from Messiah College with a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry and has worked for the past decade in the education field.

Kristi has been taking care of your pets at Smithfield Animal Hospital since August of 1989. Her love of animals has kept her wanting to learn more which led her to go back to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician through the Penn Foster College.

Claudia is an alumnus from La Guardia Community College, and has been assisting vets in treating animals for her entire professional career. She is passionate about pets and grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and birds.

Tammy joined Smithfield Animal Hospital back in 2014. Prior to working in the veterinary field, she worked many years in cosmetology, and another many years in the travel industry, and then finally finding her calling here at Smithfield Animal Hospital.

Sierra has been working in the animal field since she was 16 years of age. Her first job working at a kennel taking care of dogs was where she first fell in love with animal care. She then went on to working in the veterinary field as a receptionist and that’s when she knew this was her calling.

Amber grew up in Hunterdon County, NJ, moved to Easton, PA after high school and recently moved to the Pocono Mountains in PA. She has had a passion for horses, dogs, cats, ducks, sheep as early as she can remember.

Teresa has joined Smithfield Animal Hospital in 2023. She has been a veterinary technician for over 10 years and absolutely loves animals. Teresa has a huge interest in dog behavior and training. She spends a lot of her free time involved with a dog rescue.

Kathleen came to Smithfield Animal Hospital in 2023. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years, having experience in a small animal practice working with large, small and exotic pets. She worked in the corporate part of the field as well.

Leah joined Smithfield Animal Hospital in 2022 and brings so much energy, enthusiasm, and expertise into her daily work. She has had over a dozen pets throughout her entire life and is currently living with 5 dogs and 4 goldfish.

Naomi has been a veterinary technician at Smithfield Animal Hospital since 2021. She strives to become a veterinarian one day. Naomi started her career by working at animal shelters and pet shops at the age of 15.

Mayya grew up in Lawrenceville New Jersey and recently moved to the beautiful Pocono mountains. She has always had a love for animals. In 2021 she decided to turn her love for animals into a career.

Linda has been with Smithfield Animal Hospital since 2022. She has been working in the veterinary field for 9 years; many years in an emergency veterinary clinic. She doesn't have any 4-legged critters in her home at the moment, but Linda loves the animals that mother nature provides.
