Meet Our Team

Dr. Carney grew up on her family farm here in East Stroudsburg. In pursuit of her childhood dream to be a veterinarian, she attended Delaware Valley University for her undergraduate studies and graduated as DVM from Ontario Veterinary College in 2019.

Dr. Megan Hull grew up in Knowlton, NJ and received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Cooley is our go-to traveling specialty surgeon. She performs many complex surgeries such as soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, on small animals and some exotic pets.

Amber grew up in Hunterdon County, NJ, moved to Easton, PA after high school and recently moved to the Pocono Mountains in PA. She has had a passion for horses, dogs, cats, ducks, sheep as early as she can remember.

Teresa has joined Smithfield Animal Hospital in 2023. She has been a veterinary technician for over 10 years and absolutely loves animals. Teresa has a huge interest in dog behavior and training. She spends a lot of her free time involved with a dog rescue.

Leah joined Smithfield Animal Hospital in 2022 and brings so much energy, enthusiasm, and expertise into her daily work. She has had over a dozen pets throughout her entire life and is currently living with 5 dogs and 4 goldfish.

Mayya grew up in Lawrenceville New Jersey and recently moved to the beautiful Pocono mountains. She has always had a love for animals. In 2021 she decided to turn her love for animals into a career.

Alanna's journey in Vet Med spans over a decade, beginning as a kennel attendant and rising to the accomplished technician she is today. Alanna's passion for the veterinary field ignited in her childhood, and she is ecstatic to have turned that dream into reality.

Although Sam hails from Queens, her heart has always been with nature and animals, alongside her love for Disney. In 2020, she relocated to the picturesque Poconos and transformed her passion for animals into a fulfilling career, which perfectly complements her fur babies' pampered lifestyle.

Growing up in New Jersey, Summer always dreamed of working in the veterinary field. As a young teenager, she began working in her mom’s pet sitting business, which further fueled the passion for animal care.

Raised in the Poconos, Krystal has nature and animals coursing through her veins. Since 2017, she has been immersed in the animal industry, discovering her true calling in rehabilitating opossums.
